Hi, I’m Sofía, a wedding photographer based in the Basque Country. I didn’t come to wedding photography for the aesthetics, but for people. For what happens when no one is really looking: a hand held tightly, a breath before saying “I do”, a glance that says everything without saying a word.

I’m deeply moved by real connections. The ones that can’t be staged or repeated. That’s why my way of working is very simple: observe, accompany, and let things unfold. No interruptions, no forcing moments, no turning your day into a constant photo session.

My photography is documentary, natural, and cinematic. I’m drawn to small gestures, fleeting moments, the ones that might seem insignificant at the time but, in hindsight, become the most meaningful.

And it doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to pose. In fact, it’s often better that way. Because it’s not about poses or perfection—it’s about feeling free to live your day as it truly is, while I take care of turning it into images that feel as special as the experience itself.

I work with couples who don’t want to feel like they’re posing, but living. Those who want to be truly present on their wedding day, knowing that everything important is being cared for with calm, respect, and attention to what truly matters.

Because in the end, it’s not just about having beautiful photos. It’s about being able to return to that day… and feel like you’re there again.
